Developed new software that visualized data collected from laser scans of forests so land managers could better understand the health of the forest and improve their management practices. This work has improved the ability to mitigate climate change, protect wildlife habitats, limit flooding and landslides, enhance water quality, maintain biodiversity and sustainably provide timber.
